We celebrate Easter and Halloween here at Woodlands Family Theme Park as they fall near the half term holidays, some of our favourite times of year!

Our events days are included for guests who have a Woodlands annual pass, you only have to visit a few times and the pass will have paid for itself!
Falconry Centre Fridays!Meet the birds...Mayhem - Mexican Harris HawkMayhem is a very friendly, playful hawk, he loves toys and really enjoys being given a ball pool to play with and will spend ages pouncing on the balls and kicking them around his avairy. He is also an amazing display bird flying sometimes only millimetres above people's heads, he really loves getting a reaction from the crowd! ❓Did you know ❓Harris Hawks are the only Bird of Prey that live and hunt in family groups and they are very capable hunters.They will take a wide range of Prey in the wild from Cotton-tailed Rabbits to Lizards, Scorpions and Snakes. ✨We would love to display your drawings & pictures in the Falconry Centre! Meet the Animals Monday!Meet Ebony, she is an Argentine Black & White Tegu Lizard. She is very friendly and loves to get up close and personal with her Keepers. Mostly she can be found soaking up the rays under her heat lamps!When we are able to welcome you all back to the park, you can find Ebony at the Zoo-Farm in the Reptile House.❓ Did you Know ❓A Tegu can drop a section of its tail as a distraction if attacked!Tegus use their tongue to pick up chemicals in the air.
