Dartmouth Regatta Fun

Hello Woodlands Buddies, What a lovely few days it has been in Dartmouth. As all of you may know Dartmouth Regatta has been happening all week.

I went down last Saturday and judged the Teddy Bears Competition. It was great fun looking at all the teddys and giving out prizes

I really wanted to enter the Crab Contest on Friday but they didn’t have a category for Dragons to enter so I just had to watch instead.

On a sad note everyone at Woodlands would like to give their condolences to Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging, 33 the red arrow pilot, who died on Saturday (August 20) following a display at the Bournemouth Air Festival. Our thoughts are with his family.

We do hope everyone had a great time at Dartmouth Regatta and we are already looking forward to next year.  Maybe see you tonight if you are watching the Fireworks, I’m hoping someone will be kind enough to take me.

Keep Cool
