We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Person to work in our large touring caravan park and theme park.  A practical, hands-on, person is required to deal with the repair and maintenance of rides, attractions, equipment, machinery and buildings.

The successful, candidate will be skilled in the carrying out and organisation of a large variety of tasks.  Engineering/plumbing/mechanical/electrical experience would be particularly beneficial for this interesting role.

We are recruiting for a full-time person to work in our busy office and reception.  The ideal applicant will be highly computer literate, preferably with previous experience of Microsoft Office; training will be given on our caravan park computerised booking system.  It is important to have a cheerful, enthusiastic personality, good customer care skills and excellent attention to detail.  This is an interesting, varied role with much direct contact with customers as reception is the main centre for enquiries and arrivals for the caravan park.

 

The role involves a lot of telephone work; answering enquires; taking bookings for the Leisure Park and Caravan Park; greeting visitors; checking-in arrivals; writing letters; creating posters using Photoshop; using Access databases; handling incoming and outgoing post; organising & compiling packs for mail drops; dealing with e-mails using Outlook; researching online; filing; laminating; photocopying; taking accurate messages and passing on important information.  For the right candidate, there is scope to assist with various projects associated with events, marketing, accounts, etc.

We have an amazing opportunity to join the dedicated team at the Falconry Centre here at Woodlands.

We are currently seeking to recruit a seasonal, full time Warden couple to work from March to early November 2020; if a shorter season is preferred, there is the option to work from May to early September.  If you are just interested in working for around 8 weeks, we also take on Warden couples for the busy school summer holidays, from July to early September.  If you always fancied being a Warden but were unsure about making the leap, then why not try a taster session first during the October 2019 Half Term to see if it suits you.  You could work for a few days or a week between 19th and 27th October 2019 to give you an idea of what is involved.  There is then the option of working a full season next year.

 

We are looking for people who are practical, active and friendly.  Duties include: cleaning; showing customers to their pitch; towing caravans; light maintenance tasks; helping customers; strimming; weeding; painting; etc.  The work could also involve duties in the Leisure Park; these could range from supervising play equipment/rides to catering, distributing leaflets to promote the Park, working in the entrance kiosk or shop.  This is a varied and interesting role which would suit an enthusiastic, reliable couple.  A detailed Job Description is included in the application pack.
