We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Person to work in our family theme park and touring caravan park. A practical, hands-on, person is required to deal with the repair and maintenance of rides, attractions, equipment, machinery and buildings. Engineering/plumbing/mechanical/electrical experience would be particularly beneficial for this interesting role. The successful, candidate will be skilled in carrying out and the organisation of a large variety of tasks.

We are recruiting for a full-time person to work in our busy office and reception. The ideal applicant will be highly computer literate, with previous experience of Microsoft Office; training will be given on our caravan park computerised booking system. It is important to have a cheerful, enthusiastic personality, good customer care skills and excellent attention to detail. This is an interesting, varied role with much direct contact with customers as reception is the main centre for enquiries and arrivals for the caravan park.

The role involves a lot of telephone work; answering enquires; taking bookings for the Family Theme Park and Caravan Park; greeting visitors; checking-in arrivals; writing letters; creating posters using Photoshop; using Access databases; handling incoming and outgoing post; organising & compiling packs; dealing with e-mails using Outlook; researching online; filing; laminating; photocopying; taking accurate messages and passing on important information. For the right candidate, there is scope to assist with various projects associated with events, marketing, accounts, etc.

A full-time person is required to join our busy Leisure Park. Working with our Park Manager, a computer literate, practical, confident individual is needed to assist the Operations Team in the running of the Leisure Park. The ideal applicant will also have excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and a driving licence. The role involves working as part of a team: to ensure the smooth daily operation of the Leisure Park; to keep records up to date and accurate; to carry out various tasks related to personnel, such as recruitment, training, constructing rotas, supervising staff, etc. Experience in a similar environment would be beneficial.

This is a very responsible position and needs a highly-committed individual who is interested and willing to learn plus able to deal with varied tasks.

We are currently seeking to recruit a seasonal, full time Warden couple to work from April/May to September or early November 2021.  If a shorter season is preferred, we are also looking for a couple from July to September 2021.

We are looking for people who are practical, active and friendly.  Duties include: cleaning to a high standard; showing customers to their pitch; towing caravans; light maintenance tasks; helping customers; strimming; weeding; rubbish collection; etc.  The work would also involve duties in the Leisure Park; these could range from supervising play equipment to catering, distributing leaflets to promote the Park, working in the entrance kiosk or shops, depending on personal preferences.  This is a varied and interesting role which would suit an enthusiastic, reliable couple.  A detailed Job Description is included in the application pack.

In addition to the wage, a free electric pitch is included for your touring caravan/motorhome and discounted meals.  For candidates without their own unit, onsite accommodation is available.
